FUTA Impact Leadership Conference 4.0

The Impact Leadership Conference held in Federal University of Technology Akure was a huge success with a massive turnout from the students such that the university 2500 capacity auditorium could not seat the number of students. With students arriving as early as 7 am for registration, the conference kicked off at 10 am with the National Anthem, the host schools anthem and Impact Your World Anthem. Thrilling the audience to jokes and anchoring the event was Wole the Comedian. Mind shattering lectures from World Acclaimed speakers like Olakunle Soriyan, Yomi Fawehinmi, Engineer Akin Odumakinde and Modupe Oyekunle. Guests such as Odein Ajumogobia-Former minister of Foreign Affairs, Tomi Somefun- Managing Director of Unity Bank, Lolu Akinwunmi- CEO of Prima Garnet Advertising group. The special guest of honor was the Executive Governor and First Lady of Ondo State Mr. Rotimi & Mrs Betty Akeredolu. With 60 students who met the scholarship criteria and passed the scholarship interviews were given their scholarship awards worth N100,000 with automatic entry into the Impact Leaders Academy. Still Ringing brought down the roof with rib cracking jokes which left the participants hungry for more. In all facets, it was a memorable conference, the likes of which has never been seen in akure.
