In 1993, Engr. Akin took a giant step against all odds and relocated from the United States of America with a strong pull and passion to come help rebuild Nigeria. He had his own fair share of knocks when he came but that didn’t discourage or daunt his resolve to positively contribute to the well being of this endowed country. Little by little, he got his acts right and navigated the stormy waters to birth a reputable engineering company.

Engr. Akin has been able to build a world class engineering company with a “grass to grace” story, building institutional and human capacities. He has successfully raised and released leaders to start their own companies or move to embrace bigger career challenges in the international market. His DeltaAfrik Company has also been engaged in humanitarian services through the DeltaAfrik Charitable Foundation (DCF) meeting the needs of the underprivileged in our society.

He is a man of integrity and purpose who has touched the life of many. No doubt his rich pedigree will be brought to bear as he embraces this fresh national call having successfully used the DeltaAfrik pilot to test the waters of raising leaders in the market place while trading godly principles and values.

Engr. Akin is joyfully married to Olayinka and they are blessed with three gifted children.
