IYWLI at Cambridge University

It was words-in-season at this year’s Cambridge African Business Network conference held at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge on Saturday June 14th, 2014. The conference themed, “Africa: Breaking Myths about Success” was well attended and had distinguished and successful speakers from the African landscape lending their voices on the enormous potentials and opportunities that abound withinthe continent of Africa for aspiring investors to take advantage of.

Engr. Akin Odumakinde who spoke on “Driving Towards Success”, inspired the listening audience with hisvisionary adventure back to Nigeria from the US to set up a world class engineering company,DeltaAfrik against all odds. Other speakers included, Mr. Hakeem Belo-Osagie, Chairman Etisalat Nigeria, Mrs. Enase Okonedo, Dean Lagos Business School, Tunji Olugbodi, Founder Verdant Zeal, Nicole Amarteifio, Creator – An African City and other business Entrepreneurs from the Africa space.

The event also had very engaging panel discussions and breakout sessions with the closing address given by Sir Paul R. Judge of whom the Cambridge Business School is named after.
