ELO Career Empowerment Scheme.

Ebunoluwa Lydia Odumakinde Foundation held her career empowerment scheme themed “Integrating my Passion and Career” for the 100 students (SS1-SS3) who were awarded scholarships in November. The Career empowerment scheme was held on the 27th of January, 2018 at St Peters Anglican Church in Ijare. Kicking off at 11am with speakers discussing different topics with the students such as Discovering yourself & Passion, Choosing a Career, Career Development Plan and Pursuing Academic Excellence, the students listened with rapt attention and wrote down notes where needed. Then the students were divided into groups based on their chosen career paths such as Engineering, Sciences, Performing Arts, Armed Forces amongst others to discuss what their chosen careers entail, what to expect and how to deal with hurdles. It was an enlightening experience for the students who discovered and re-discovered themselves.
